These sketchbook-style paintings will take your character description and give you a few options for what your character might look like. The finished artwork will combine watercolor, pencil, and sometimes ink. Creating a few unique character design options in one magical composition.

Ordering Your Character Commission Painting

You can describe your favorite Dungeons and Dragons character or a character from your favorite book.
When describing your character, focus on important physical characteristics, clothing, and props.
You may upload a file with inspiration images like sketches or photos of your character’s jewelry or weapons etc. but they must be combined into one file (like a jpg or pdf) where Manelle can see all the images at once.
Manelle doesn’t draw sexy women; all character commissions must be “safe for work”. If you want that, another artist will be a better option.

The best photos will be in focus and have good lighting. Pictures of you or your loved ones posing are a great way to remember your trip, but they don’t make a good painting. If your scene has people, it’s better if they are in motion. (walking shopping etc.) Because that helps tell the story of the place. Sunsets also make beautiful photos but not good paintings. See photo examples in this post for help in choosing your photos.
How do I tell if it’s a cityscape or a landscape? Cityscape images mostly contain buildings. Landscapes may have buildings, but they will mostly be land.
