Custom Character Commissions

From Beatrix Potter to Dungeons and Dragons, storytellers and artists have a long tradition of creating fantasy characters from their imaginations. Manelle has always loved drawing dragons, fairies, and fantasy creatures, and with these custom character commissions, she is excited to have found a way to share them. These sketchbook-style paintings will take your character description and give you a few options for what your character might look like. The finished artwork will combine watercolor, pencil, and sometimes ink. Creating a few unique character design options in one magical composition. 

Manelle has been working as a professional illustrator and watercolorist for 20 years. She’s illustrated multiple children’s books and is excited to share these custom paintings with you.  

Ordering Your Character Commission Painting

• You may use the drop-down options below to choose your character, describe them in the text box provided, or do both. (If you don’t see the text box, give it a few seconds to load.)
• You can describe your favorite Dungeons and Dragons character or a character from your favorite book.
• When describing your character, focus on important physical characteristics, clothing, and props.
• You may upload a file with inspiration images like sketches or photos of your character’s jewelry or weapons etc. but they must be combined into one file (like a jpg or pdf) where Manelle can see all the images at once.
• Manelle doesn’t draw sexy women; all character commissions must be “safe for work”. If you want that, another artist will be a better option.
